AADC deficiency New technologies to help improve screening

Abstract

Aromatic L-Amino Acid Decarboxylase (AADC) Deficiency is a rare neuromebtaolic disorder of the synthesis of dopamine and serotonin. In this masterclass, I will talk about novel methods for high-throughput newborn screening approaches and selective screening tools to improve diagnosis making in children with AADC deficiency. The Masterclass will be headed by Prof. Thomas Opladen, a leading clinician and scientist in the field of neurotransmitter-related disorders.
